Be On Casting Workbook.com (read all 3 entries…)
Glad To Be Back!

Every professional actor must be on here and so far I’m on the right track. I hope there’s more profit from it this time.

And?

Hi, just saw this page and thought i’d send you my 2 cents worth.

What has happened since January?

Being on the most popular and most searched database in Canada is a smart start…my question is…have you filled out all possible search criteria?

Additionally, do you have an agent?

You really need a good agent for they are the ones who have access to “all” the breakdowns and can submit you for auditions etc.

If you don’t have an agent, start knocking on doors or email…90% of them use casting workbook and can check you out.

Warm regards

Thanks For Thinking Of Me!

I do have an agent. I bagged one in January and he has gotten me some auditions lately. Eventhough I’m doing background extra work tomorrow, I’m part of a small group getting paid while the crowd of hundreds “volunteer” for the day. I got an audition where they called me back, but I’m not sure I got it: It’s been a week since and no confirmation yet. Anyway, the Casting Workbook and the agent are doing me well and dandy.

I need some advise...

I just registered my 4 yr old daughter with an agent here in Toronto.

Is it worth it to register her on castingworkbook.com as well?

How often do they contact you or your agent (if you have one) re job?

Any other advice that you can give me?

Thanks

jb

Sorry for Taking So Long!

Yes, it’s worth it. Most agents and casting directors use this site to find actors, and most agents use it to refer you to casting directors.

Also...

Go to IMDb.com and register there for the IMDbPro.com to add a headshot and resume too. It’s pricier than Casting Workbook, but it’s an investment. There’s a goal on here for that too.
