Today, the girlfriend and I drove down to the dog park in Lewisville. I don’t think it’s as nice a park as the one here in Denton. It was apparently only built a couple of years ago, so the trees are still saplings. It was also pretty muddy, but I don’t really know if the Denton one would have been any better in that regard today. With the snow last week, I think a lot of the parks and such are probably pretty muddy right about now.

In any case, Ernie had a good time at the park and seemed to make a lot of new, if temporary, friends. Everyone always thinks that he’s just the prettiest thing, even though his belly was covered with grass and mud. Now he’s tired out and sleeping on the couch. Not sure what we’ll do tomorrow, but at least we’ve done something for the weekend…
