work because I like to, not because I have to
Are you a square peg in a round hole?

The answer to this concern is simple, but not easy.

1. You’ve got to begin with your passion. List all the possible work that will make you express your passion. Do not limit yourself to whatever you know now. Explore.

2. Look into your talents and skills. Identify those work that will make you use your gifts. Zero in to the ones that you have the greater chance to be the best in what you do. However, do not limit yourself to the talents and skills that you have now. Determine also whether you have the opportunity to learn and acquire those skills required by your passion.

3. Look for the work that will sustain you. Although you will not work for money, I encourage you to engage also yourself in a work that will not make money or the lack of it the hindrance to your happiness.

When you work to express your passion and use your talents and skills, it will be easier for you to work not because you have too, but because you must.

Yes, you must. Because we are made to express ourselves through the things that we do. Choose your expression. Choose your job wisely.
