Quit Smoking (read all 9 entries…)
6 years! (The butt stopped there)

I wanted to make the jubilant annual “still not smoking” entry. Neither of us has had a single puff for 6 years now! (and how wonderful it was to enter this pregnancy clean lunged and smoke free instead of quitting mid hormonal rampage while guilt tripping for not knowing).

$20,000+ hasn’t gone up in stinky smoke and I’ve felt healthier than I have in years… I can’t imagine trying to get into the exercise I’ve embraced with sketchy breathing.

Kudos and the very best of luck to all of you still trying to hammer this beast off their list – it’s so hard, but one of the most worthwhile goals you can accomplish for yourself and the people that love you, you’ll have more years to do more of the things you want to as well.

Deep breath.

*CHEER*!

Congratulations on this! Quitting smoking is one of the hardest things to do, and having been completely smoke-free for six years is none short of inspiring! (As is the amount of money you’ve not spent on stinky cigarettes!)

14 years

I don’t regret quitting at all. I have no idea how much we’ve saved, but it’s significant. It would probably pay for our house! (is a very small house)
Way to go!

Ru!
