This is actually quite frustrating. One would think that being Filipino and having a huge family would make this quite easy. Wrong! Speaking a language and teaching a language are two vastly different things. My family can’t/won’t teach me and just talk to me in English. Fine.

So I called up the Philippine cultural center in our city. There’s tons of Filipinos there! And yet no avial. Nobody wants/can teach Tagalog. Well then…

Next: books and the internet. It’s miserable, so I’m putting it off in favour of my French and Spanish until I can find a tutor to help me along while using said books/internet as tools.

Ugh.
