I went target shooting for the first time not took long ago. It was my first time firing a pistol as well. I’ve fired shotguns and rifles, but I had never even held a handgun before.

I had a lot of fun and did pretty well for my first time, especially considering the firearm I was using (Ruger LCP; no sights, hard kick). It’s definitely something I will continue to do in the future and has pushed me forward along the path to acquire my own pistol, as well as qualify for my CC.
