I have a short fuse when it comes to stupid people (ie: my MIL and SIL). However, I am trying really hard to look at things at a different angle so I can be more understanding of people’s short-comings (maybe they didn’t have such a good upbringing, or enough spankings). I hope I can eventually forgive certain people in my life, even if they continue their stupid behavior, because the stress my impatience and unforgiveness puts on me drains me of the energy I need to keep up with my kids. Besides, times spent fuming over them is better spent loving my kids.
