A phone call I would rather skip
Need to call a friend that I deliberately stayed out of touch with (I haven’t returned her last phone call 2 weeks ago). She offered a job and I need to decline. It’s a bad job, as a non-official assistant to some rich Russian guy. Last time we met she said he was hitting on her and she’s married… I just know how it goes in situations like that. Just sounds like bad news and my husbands didn’t even want to hear about it. Plus, we need to travel home for our papers for at least 2 weeks. I doubt my potential employer would be thrilled.
