Ok so it is crazy to see how long I have been trying to get to the low 120s. It is almost funny. I’ve been doing some group fitness classes since February and though I was building strength, I wasn’t really seeing a difference on the scale. And then I started paying attention to my eating. I weighed myself a good month ago and was so sad to see 140 (it may have been late in the day, but still) so I decided it was time to take hold of my diet. I began 17 day diet, allowing myself to cheat on the weekends. I lost a lot right away, hung out around 133.8 for an excruciating length of time and this morning I was 132! Yay! I am super motivated to keep it up (I am going to Miami in a month and have fallen in love with the group classes in preparing for it), and hope to see the 120s soon soon soon! This time the 120s will be a bit different however because I have put on some muscle. There is a definite difference in the appearance of my body so I think mid 120s would be a great healthy weight for me now. Best of luck to everyone else working on this goal!
