Stick it through. Put aside all distractions, but only work for a half hour at a time (otherwise you will become exhausted easily) and then allow yourself a stretch break or get up for a glass of water. Remember that biology builds on itself—if you don’t understand the previous chapters or concepts, try to talk yourself through them before moving ahead. You can do it, you really can. Tell yourself that biology is interesting. You’re studying LIFE! Think of the beauty around you, and then connect it to what you are studying (Oh, that flower uses photosynthesis to make feasible energy). It’s all about the attitude. Getting started is the most difficult part, but you can do it. Put your mind to it, and you’ll be fine.
