Meet David Sedaris
No one makes me laugh like you do...

I actually don’t know what I would say to him if I met him. Maybe it would be best if I just sat at a table close to him in a restaurant, so I could eavesdrop a little.

I agree

...a very funny writer.

I think we should invite him to thanksgiving dinner.

your place or mine? We’ll have him bring the fromage :)

Your Place

I only rent a room in a house, and it might get a little crowded…although perhaps totally appropriate. But I think Seattle would suit him better than Dallas. Do you think he will bring Hugo? He would have to take pictures!

Who’s David Sedaris, please?

Little late

You have probably figured it out by now, but David Sedaris is a great writer. Definitely my favorite writer. If you care to read him I would start with ‘me talk pretty one day’ or ‘dress your family in corduroy and denim.’

Cheers!

Not that it's the biggest help....

..but my older sister is one of his literary agents (Don Congdon & Associates). If I ever find out his next West Coast schedule, I’ll let you know. I know it’s not original, but you can start a conversation by complementing this clothes.

That is really cool!

If I meet him, I will complement him on his clothes and then I can tell him you said I should say that. There’s an ice-breaker ;)

So I guess now I am 2 degrees of seperation from him, vitually anyway!

Birgitte has gotten 5 cheers on this entry.
