Good progress...

My test is scheduled for June 14, and I’ve completed the materials for the Technician exam. I’m moving on into the General Exam materials; we’ll see if I can pass that one too.

This is fun.

oooooooooo!!!

I never thought of that! I don’t think that I can get a vanity plate, since I have a handicap plate, but I will get a call sign and will have to think about what fun I can have with it! I can put it on my business cards, with my degrees. What a hoot.

A call sign...

is your station name, just like KCBS is the name of the CBS news station in San Francisco. Every licensed amateur has one, and on the air it really IS your name.

I am so excited about this, now that you’ve got me thinking about it!
