Crib and mattress are up!

My camera battery died, so this crappy cell phone pic will do for now.

All is well with the crib. I spent more time scrubbing sticker gooey off one of the panels (and finally giving up in disgust) than putting the entire crib together. (R did help, but then he had to go to work. So I did the rest myself.)

The bedding also works. I was going to wash it first, but my dryer died. (Right before R went to work. He’s going to look at it in the morning and determine if it’s truly DOA or if the problem is a minor one.) So I decided to take the unwashed bedding for a dry run. Glad I did, too; turns out the bumper strings aren’t exactly in the right places. I’ll need to fix that before GB arrives.

Tonight, though, I think I’m going to turn in early. Between venturing out in the heat to attend my breastfeeding class, wrangling with the crib, and hanging two loads of laundry to dry (of course one of those loads was sheets and towels), I’m quite tired.
