After applying to six schools this last year, I was only accepted to one – which would have been in a great location. Unfortunately they were unable to offer any funding and so I turned the offer down because I felt it didn’t make sense to go deep into debt for an artistic degree. I will apply again this year, though, and see what may happen. in the meantime, I’ll keep writing, developing my craft, and pursuing my passions.
