I went to the doctor the other day. When I was diagnosed my A1c was at 7.4 (in the “definitely diabetic” range).
My lab results came back, and my current A1c is 5.6. That’s on the high end of normal.
What does this mean? Well, I’m still diabetic, but I’ve gained pretty good control of my blood sugars. That makes me happy.
