they are enjoyable

Personally while I have my doubts that they will stand the test of time as well as the Lord of the Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia have managed to do so I am enjoying them. I’d have to admit that they are very clever and playful which makes them enjoyable stories to read, just seem a bit shallow to me or at least from the perspective of a person who is likely over twice the age of the intended reader which is likely why I’m going through them so fast as to me they are very light reading.
