Fujifilm S4000

I’m REALLY excited about this camera!!! I still want to delve back into film photography, but this Fujifilm camera will give me digital options for aperture and shutter speed control, which is ultimately what I have desired in photography. I’ve been taking some time to get to know this new camera, but it’ll be practice (trial and error) that I will enjoy. Why does the weekend have to go by so fast…? :( Guess I’ll start wishing this week away so I can indulge in some more experimental photography. LOL

I like it a lot.

It takes nice photos, it’s fairly easy to use, it has lots of zoom options, and the batteries aren’t forever running out. It has a somewhat annoying shutter delay, but I think that there is probably a setting I don’t know about that could changed. It’s light, too.

Zoom…yes, 30x!!! I’m more excited about doing some fun things with shutter speed. Annoying for you, but sheer fun for moi. :) I like taking shots in varying light.

Four batteries for this!!! My last only took two…

you are showing great control

not calling in sick to work so that you can spend the day with your camera.

It does take a lot of batteries, which makes it heavier. On the other hand, I don’t have to change batteries that often with this camera, so that’s nice.

What kind of fun things can you do with shutter speed? I am a total amateur and don’t know about such things at all.
