mamidragon The night never ends if we never go inside...
actually seem to be getting there. My grandmother had the most beautiful skin in the world, even at 83 there were times I would have traded mine for hers, hers was so PERFECT like it was some sort of time-resisting sculpted substance rather than real skin.
A peek into her bathroom identified Night of Olay firming creme as a possible contributor, but in the months we cared for her I am sure we gave her no sort of beauty treatment and she still looked perfect. She used to stay out of the sun and dress very modestly, even in the summer. Relatives always joked about her “solar shields,” huge sunglasses she wouldn’t go outside without. I have also noticed improvement by using great moderation with products. Nothing should be used every night, and anything I use every day must be used in the lightest amount. Products that have grapefruit in them have been helpful when use one to three times a week, like Neutrogena scrub and this 5-minute mask from Bottega Verde – which we don’t have here :( When I was 15 I was given a line-preventing serum by Perscriptives as a free gift when I bought some of the first make-up I ever bought. I used a teeny drop of it under my eyes most days since then and yes, so far, it has prevented lines. Of course I might not be old enough for lines yet, although heavy smokers and tanners my age already have them. I never do those things but there are times I drink like a Marine. However, I started drinking late in life (20) and plan to become a teacher soon, which will require me to limit drinking to evenings only (kidding). I am already cutting back. Like the year I was a nanny I barely drank or missed it.
