I Like You, Yes I Do

I like weather. Pretty much any kind of weather.

Yes I like rain. Drizzle, pouring rain, sprinkles… yep. I like fog. I like overcast. I like sunshine. I like snow, freezing rain, ice. Humidity is okay with me. Okay, the stuff I like least are heavy wind and hail. I admit that. Or really really hot weather day after day after day.

But I’ll happily walk and run in the rain. Stay indoors and drink my tea and coffee in the overcast or fog or drizzle. Have a nice pint. Go for a walk in the forest. Storms! Oooooh, I love storms.

I’m cool with it.

Not that I don’t understand people who need some sun. Sometimes though, I think complaining about the weather is just something people like to do without even thinking about it. Just to have something to say.

Yes, weather!

It’s fun finding other people who like/love weather too!

And always nice to say or hear something positive from other people – strangers or anyone! – instead of complaints, don’t you agree? “How nice and enjoyable the weather is today! Check out the neat clouds!” Instead of, “Ugh! More rain, I hate the rain, don’t you?” Hmmm… no, not really! In fact, anything unexpected is fun to hear… or not hear. Sometimes silence is really unexpected!

Sometimes people are just afraid of silence. So they say something negative about rain just to fill the space. : )
