So, I’m in need of an update. I managed to keep a good grasp on learning about Christianity all throughout April. As promised, I read up on some of the fundamental beliefs as well as where the different denominations differ (and how and why). The same went for religious practices. As far as relics go there wasn’t a whole lot that was mentioned. Just a page or two. Living in a pretty Christian society I’m aware of the Holy days and I just brushed up on the historical accounts of the major ones. Which brought me into the realm of Paganism (I got a little side tracked for a while).
Later on I delved into history books of all sorts in Europe outlining Christianity from a historians view point. It helped me out a lot with the timeline and figuring out how things progressed. I dabbled in a little art inspired by the religion and took a good hard look at the gospels. Perhaps it’s the nerdiness in me and my love for maps, but I had fun reading about the spread of Christianity and where the different sects mainly reside.
There was a whole lot to read and honestly it’s something I could never be done doing. For now though, I believe I can put it to rest.
