Yup
It has been really great. I suggest you go for it. My group meets up and we read out our stories, prose or poems and everyone in the group crits your work. It has really made me think about my writing carefully- I was just writing stuff but I didn’t work on it. Find a good group that is supportive yet will give you feedback.
So my advise: GO FOR IT!
