Lint!

I live in a very dusty town plus I’d say roughly 80% of my wardrobe is cotton. With the help of my sister I spent three hours this weekend removing lint from my hair with tweezers. I also deep-cleansed my hair (perhaps a little too well?).

I don’t mind the effort though. My locks are worth it. This sounds strange but I’m beginning to believe that locks are magical things. Since I got them I feel my personality changing somehow. I am becoming more pantient, more gracious, more aware. Isn’t that the strangest thing?

A learning experience

Growing locks does teach you to have patience. Also the longer I’ve been growing mines the more “mellowed out” I feel.

Jillianne B happy 4 this moment is your life.....

It is so true....

I had always wanted dreadlocks from the age of 8 or 10 years old and I started to grow and nurture mine when I was 32years old…I can not imagine Not having my dreads now after 12years, it is hard to find someone to help me keep them maintained but I can not cut them off….It really changed me also as a person a woman I became more true to myself in all ways mind body and soul…it does sound weird and not many people can understand that but I feel what you are saying how you feel it has changed you and it is in a positive way so CHEERS to dread locks…Good Luck in your proccess and love your Locks…
