get a cancer ribbon tattoo in memory of loved one
Yellow Cancer Ribbon in Memory of my Dad

I luv my new tat.
I’ve been wanting to get a second one for a while but couldn’t come up with anything solid. Inspired by a recent comment to my main blog, I came up with the yellow cancer ribbon. He said that my dad should always be in the back of my mind. I sometimes feel confused as to how I’m supposed to feel and where I’m supposed to be in the healing process. I sometimes feel that I don’t do enough to honour him, or whatever, y’know? So, anyway, this is what I came up with. It’s a permanent tribute, a permanent reminder, a permanent way to support cancer research by creating dialog and awareness, and I’ll never regret getting it even when I’m old and wrinkly because it’s a ribbon… they’re flexible.

I totally recommend getting a ribbon tattoo if you lost a loved one to cancer. DO it by yourself, with a friend.. or even as a family.

If you’re interested, I can send you the outline for this design or help you with the whole process.
