I currently work as a TV and radio producer in a small Indie. My dream however is to become an architect. It always has been since I was quite young.

Over the last six months I have been visiting the architectural book-shop and gallery in my city and buying a few books.

I can’t afford the tens of thousands of pounds I need for school at the moment so I am just going to concentrate on developing my sketching, photography, knowledge (through reading and visiting buildings), networking and working out how knowledge is practically applied.

To be honest this seems like a bit of an impossible goal. I already have one career and I am struggling to learn everything to become proficent in that but at least on here I can keep track of my goals so my mini goals are

1) more sketching
2) more photography (maybe a better camera)
3) visit more inspiring buildings/cities
4) read more architecture related books
5) network with architects and related people
