530.1 HAWThe Grand Design by Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow
This was a good physics book that was fun to read while the world talks about neutrinos. It was also funny to read it immediately after a religion book as parts of the book seem to be SCREAMING for atheism between the physics lines.
I didn’t like this one as much as The Universe in a Nutshell, but it was a good beginners read if you can ignore the snide or overly cheesy remarks sprinkled through it. (I have the feeling that the snipe comes from Mr. Mlodinow as I’ve read other Hawking books and he’s tended toward cheesiness, but never snipe.)
