To me, disciplined “smacks” of rulers on wrists. I like structured. Optimistic and persistent are more motivating to me than relentless.
I was just thinking, what does Steve Jobs do with all his “free time” now? I know he’s sick, but I imagine he just has the habits now of innovating, keeping up with the industry, inspiring others, etc. It would be lovely to have the goal-pursuit intensity become a habit, just a part of who you are. Takes 30 days to form a habit, right? Just have to not get burned out in that time; exercise is a way to keep grounded in where you are.
