17. Teach Yourself Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Christine Wilding and Aileen Milne

Teach Yourself books had quite a high profile when I was in my late teens. Perhaps they’ve been outshone by the Dummies series since. Anyway, I was quite surprised to stumble across this book and learn that the series continued, albeit wit a somewhat reduced and limited catalogue compared with what I remember.

And I found this book very good. I read it primarily to understand more about E’s therapy, which began as CBT, and I certainly learned from it – and benefited myself. Clear, concise and well-structured with each chapter building on the next; I shall turn to it again I’m sure :)
