Like t thank youbfor raising awareness about the dangers and impact of diabetes- my mom suffered from it for 20 years and she passed away due to complications at the age of 71- some say not bad- but she was otherwise healthy- but complications came up and her resistance was Mao low she contacted bone cancer in her last few years- she suffered a painful 2 years – so am very happy to see your efforts….

That was an old petition

so no longer in existence. There really is no need to thank me. I will always support JDRF but am not as active as I used to be.

I hope your dad is doing well and that one day there will be a cure.

Glad to hear that about your dad

You are absolutely right, many people do not know managing diabetes is so hard. When I tell people the affect diabetes has on the kidneys, eyes, heart, and limbs they are astonished. And what I mentioned is just some of the complications that stem from being a diabetic there are so many more.

My father had to get a kidney transplant

Luckily his sister was a good match over 90%. He doesn’t always realize when he’s having a reaction. Most of the time he does but unfortunately sometimes it gets really low without anyone realizing.
