I found this great shelf at Goodwill that holds all the books that were stacked on top of my shoulder-high, packed bookshelf. It holds two potted plants and all of my CDs too, plus it is a nice light color which helps make it not seem so overpowering given it reaches to within a foot of the ceiling. Victory!

There are still quite a few problem areas but I’m working on it and this bit of progress is wonderful.
