naughtyminx78 is back to being me :)
Despite many challenges to her completing her GCSES (such as friends that led her astray, all consuming relationships, a stubborn and rebellious nature and a terrible lack of organisation) she pulled it out of the bag at the final hour to achieve:
A* in IT
B in English Lit
B in Maths
C in English
C in Science
C in German
I’m so very proud of her. With over 5 GCSEs including Maths, English and Science she had plently of choices open to her.
She went to 6th Form for a couple of weeks to see how she got on with A Levels but she soon decided it wasn’t for her. After applying for some apprenticships she was offered a place at college and is now studying for an NVQ3 in Childcare. The course will giver the same UCAS points as her A Levels would have so she still has the options open to go to university.
The day we went to collect her results will always be a treasured memory, seeing her open the envelope and her happiness at getting the grades she was hoping for was wonderful.
