I dunno people were worried that it would be polluted if it became sort of a tourist destination. In one of my youths I read H.P. Lovecraft novella called The Mountains of Madness, now I doubt I will find remenants of a lost civilization but it would be neat to go see some December day. Of course I could retreat back to Wellington or some place like that.

Anyway how did you arrange to visit all those places? I am a tad old for “youthful wanderlust” but it seems that ever since I sorta recovered from a major illness I have been kinda bouncy and going through some sort of weirdass regeneration is how I can best describe it. So I want to go and do things.
