Most of today I was busy with my volunteer work, so I didn’t even think about my shoulder or the surgery besides the fact that I was protecting my right arm most of the day. When I finally did have time alone, I had visualizations of the pain in my arm as if the surgery were already done. My arm felt so weak and useless. That feeling luckily disappeared as I fell into a deep sleep.
