So sometime last week I finished and turned in my last assignment for my BA degree and we bought my cap and gown. My official graduation date is December 8th. I don’t think it all has sunk in yet.

I’ve come such a long way since I started and it’s taken so long that I don’t know that I ever really thought I would finish. I’m very glad that moment is finally coming. It’s such a relief.

It just hit me that one of the primary reasons I wanted to finish my degree in the first place was so I could join the Peace Corps. Now that seems like such a distant memory and goal. My life is so different now and I have new reasons for wanting to finish.

It’s amazing where life takes you and where I’ll be in 4 more years!
