bluefish0526 I love being a Mommy!!!

post random questions daily and see if anyone plays with me and answers them :) (read all 14 entries…)
Boy or girl? Why?

I simply cannot answer this. Two and a half months ago I could have answered quickly, loudly and with more certainty than I have ever answered anything in my entire life …

BOY!!!BOY!!! BOY!!!

But on October 17, I found out that the little bundle of joy growing inside my belly is a little girl. I was hoping for another boy, but when I was told the baby was a girl, I wasn’t even slightly disappointed.

Now I have gone pink and ruffle and lace crazy!!!

If we’re talking about dogs? I want male dogs!

If we’re talking about friends? I prefer to have male friends!

So, if I HAVE to make a choice, I’m not going to say “boy” ... I’m going to say “male.” :)

Not entirely sure what your question is.

But I’ll have a go.

Sex partner: Male

Gynecologist: female, but it never happens. I always end up with a male doctor. With cold hands.

Pet gender: neutered. With hamsters and such, I prefer the females because the males get testicles that are half their body weight. You’ve got to watch them draggin those suckers around. It’s awkward.

Friends: Whatever, but females usually don’t end up pretending to be friends, just to try and get in your pants at a vulnerable moment.

Bra fitter: female, though I still find it weird having a stranger grabbing your fun bags.

Brazilian wax technician: Are there any men who do this for a living? I don’t get these done, but if I had to, I’d want it to be a woman. I find this an odd career choice. Did any one ever think to themselves “Now THAT’s what I want to do, rip the bum hair off of people!”

Pizza cook: Male. I don’t know why, but I always feel better if it’s a guy, especially if he’s greek.

You're funny!!! :)

Thanks for a giggle this morning.

The question doesn’t mean anything … take it the way you want to take it.

I have an “OR” book and asking front to back. You know …

... Up or down
... Left or right
... Hot or cold
... Pepsi or coke (which is actually going to be the next one)

Male vs. Female

When it come to children, I say girl. Girls don’t have their pee spouting up in your face while you change them. I’ve shopped for clothes for both. Girls are much more fun to shop for. I would have taken a boy if that was in the stars, however.
Dogs and cats: Female, again. I cant explain how that happened. It just did. Most of our dogs over the years have been female. Our last 2 lived to be 16 and 14 years respectively. Currently, we are fostering our daughter’s dog (female). Our cats have mostly been female, too. Most have come to us as strays. Only 3 weren’t strays and only one of those was male. Currently, we have 3 cats, all female. I think that is why they all get along. Males would be fighting. Some fight even after they are fixed.
Bosses or supervisors: Actually, I perfer male. I’ve never had good luck with women supervisors. The last 2 I had were two faced bitches. I’m not saying women don’t make good bosses. Our superintendent is a woman and she is usually undoing all the messes our supervisors (both male and female) do.

Is this your first child?Maybe it was engrained in you to think boy. Many times women are taught as girls that their first child should be a boy to carry one the husband’s name. This male preference is part of the cultures around the world. Everyone wants and expects the firstborn to be a boy.

Boy v. Girl

Child – I don’t have any yet but I would prefer a girl – at least until they got to their teens ;)

Friends – Boys mostly. It is only recently that I have become close friends with a couple of girls. I find guys so much easier to talk to and I am not the girliest of girls. I really dislike clothes shopping.

Animals – Boys. I have two male cats who are fairly normal and a female cat who is crazy She prefers cucumber to cat food, she hates being touched and lives in the airing cupboard. She rarely comes out of there so I turned it into a little cat house with scratching posts and a bed ect. I also have a male dog who is lovely.

Bosses – Boys. I have only had one female boss and she was crazy too. (maybe we are all crazy?) All my male bosses I have gotten on fine with.

Teachers – Boys, I had a tendency to fancy some of my teachers. Gave me a reason to turn up to lessons :D

Children

That is exactly why I wanted all boys … I am definitely not looking forward to the teenage years of a girl. If she is anything like me, she is going to be a real B-word. I know, that wasn’t very nice talking about my unborn little girl that way. :)

bluefish0526 has gotten 2 cheers on this entry.
