at Project Angel Food – I’ll be working in the kitchen with a great team of chefs and fellow volunteers, preparing meals for delivery. Our customers are all individuals living with a serious illness.

It’s the perfect place for me to do meaningful work while building needed skills in the profession I’m trying to transition into (professional cook!)

Just attended the orientation this morning, and already got to work a shift this afternoon. It was a lot of fun! Can’t wait to go back next week…
