idkbrblol is taking a breather ☺
We’ll start out with a recent insight.
Actually this may be a big pointer; so big – in fact, that I’ll say that this… “is the name of the game,” ok?
Let’s say in the picture [labeled ‘C’], we’ll say that we have one “line” or “I” falling. But there are two good places to put it… we can lay it flat on the left, or we can slide it down the side at the right, (and get lots of points), (and yell “Tetris!!”)
Now it’s obvious that completing lines is what it takes to clear the stage & therefore “getting Tetris’” is admirable—even heroically gargantuan, but… {{B.ehold the U.nderlying T.ruth}} the I block gives the most width – (the most potential), to complete a line, and having a flat surface to lay that block down does not come very often; even if you’re really good, and plan for it.
So, if you have a flat surface there to lay the block down, and you think that will not cause the blocks to stack up too high waiting for a later I-block, lay it down & wait for a later I-block to get a Tetris or two!
You’re welcome, (your appreciation will be acceptable in cash). :-)
