People are generous around the holidays. So I’m busy at my nonprofit. We tried to be smart this year and when people would call and offer toys for the kids we’d ask if they could instead give us toilet paper, personal care products, copy paper, diapers, that kind of thing. Don’t worry, the kids will have plenty but now their moms will have something, too and some of the pressure of providing all this necessary stuff will be off for a little while.
