Networking

is never done, but it’s been so important as I start to build my business and I’ve definitely gotten better at it. Remembering to be open each time I go into the studio and talking to people about what I’m doing. Thinking of ways I can help others so that they in turn can help me. Also using social media to build and maintain connections I would not otherwise have thought of. I’ve also gotten better at doing this at the college and have built more connections there this semester – I hope to get more involved next semester. (I feel my high school self coming back – it’s so weird. Joining committees and such, not because I necessarily want to but because I see how it will help me.)

Anyway, networking is, of course, never done. However, I think that this goal is. For now. And the continuation of it is encompassed under other goals, such as “Make my business successful” – so I can definitely retire this one.
