so I used to be pretty darned awesome in French. then I didnt take a class or otherwise speak French for almost 5 years. the result is that while I still have a good base vocabulary, I couldnt put a conversation together without offending or confusing someone by accident. that irritates me, to no end. I just need to find the time or opportunity to get it back.
