January 2012
Android
Jan.038.30am-3.30pm 100% > 62% (18.42 hrs)
Jan.03Installed Colorful Alarm
Jan.04Disabled BatteryFu, maybe the phone is able to conserve enough battery on its own, especially after being flashed with MiniCM7 ROM
Jan.04Installed ToDo Pro (+ Full version key), Google Japanese Input. Uninstalled SSI gTasks ToDo
Jan.05Determined that maybe I don’t need BatteryFu for preserving the battery and that leaving wifi on is not that bad under normal situations. Also, since 3G seems to be more of a battery hog than 2G, found that the MiniCM7 Power Control bar supports an instant setting of 2G/3G, so I can keep it on 2G most of the time except when I need faster access.
Jan.067.30am-3.30pm 100% > 66% (17.65 hrs)
Jan.06Installed Gmail Notifier, Dijit, Box. Had problem getting past first screen since Continue button was not being displayed on the small x10 mini screen, but was able to copy data from another phone to bypass the first screen. Was able to get 50Gb storage from Box for having a Sony Ericsson device.
Jan.071pm-10.30pm 100% > 58% (22.62 hrs)
Jan.08Installed The Weather Channel
Jan.10Installed Cup Cup Golf 3D, TalkPal, Nuance Dragon Go
Jan.12Installed LeapWifi, Instant HeartBeat
Jan.13Installed Unified Remote, Uninstalled EVA (seems to take up quite a bit of battery even when not in use)
Jan.14Installed Subtitle Player
Jan.16Installed PdaNet, PhotoAF, NeoReader, Linda Application Manager. Was able to connect PC through PdaNet, but not access work network.
Jan.18Installed BTmono, qando, scanning software
Jan.22Updated Google Maps, Google+, Colorful Alarm, Lookout Mobile Security, Life360, ToDo Pro+key, Kingsoft Office, Cup Cup Golf 3D, Talking Tom Cat, Uninstalled Kingsoft Office, Cup Cup Golf 3D
Jan.26Installed InfoBar launcher, LCD Resolution, Uninstalled Full Screen Launcher, Launcher 7, WP7 Launcher, Hi Launcher
Jan.27Replaced the screen protector on the phone
Jan.27Installed WorldMate, CamDictionary. Updated Maps, Jeannie. CamDictionary force closes all the time though when trying to bring up the camera. E-mailed error report.
Jan.307.30am-2pm 100% > 76% (27.08 hrs)
Jan.30Installed Metal Detector, Micro Metal Detector
Jan.318.30am-4pm 100% > 34% (11.36 hrs)
Jan.31Installed Waze, Uninstalled Metal Detector

Home entertainment
Jan.07Projector started flickering and lose its brightness, but turns out was likely loose cable in the back of the ReplayTV

PC
Jan.11Was able to hook up the TV at the Marriott Courtyard at Wien Messe as a second monitor by using the VGA cable and tuning to channel 58 and connecting the PC audio out to the component audio.
Jan.15Was able to hook up the TV at the Hilton Vienna Danube with a VGA cable and PC audio by specifying PC as the source on the remote.
Jan.16Received Linux version for work PC
Jan.16I seem to have automatically allowed my PC authorization to my Google accounts by using Google Sesame and scanning the QR code with my phone. Ah, I see. This is to allow a PC access to my Google accounts without having to actually type my user name/password on the computer as a computer other than my own could theoretically have “key loggers” installed to capture people typing in their user name and password.
Jan.16I also had problems connecting to work network directly from PC. Even after rebooting, no luck… but eventually, after reconnecting to the hotel wifi, I was able to get into the work network.
Jan,31For some reason, received message “replay show mpg file not found… please refresh the corresponding guide!” from two different ReplayTVs when trying to send something to my mom. Restarted MediaPC computer, but that didn’t work. Searched the Internet and looks like it is related to a clock skew problem. I resync’d the clock and it was able to send it.

Internet
Jan,31Looks like name.com is not supporting jp domains anymore. Sent a mail to support.
