Ok, I suppose that you can’t just get rid of depression as it’s an actual illness, like being born with diabetes or missing an arm or the like. What I can hope for, strive and yearn for, and mark as a serious goal is to keep an eye on my depression and do what I can to manage it. By watching for factors that might make it worse and by ensuring that I am very mindful of it’s existence, I have been much better at keeping myself up during the down times.
