Recommended by a friend who knows my love of all things feline, this is a detective novel where all the key characters, including the inspector, happen to be cats. Some gruesome bits, for a cat lover at least, but an enjoyable novel, made more interesting by footnotes giving background information on cat behaviour, about which the author Akif Pirincci has written at least one dedicated book, Cat Sense.

An good start to this goal!
