First step

I have too much stuff, and I’m not looking forward to moving again sometime in the next couple of years. I also want to appreciate the stuff I have instead of feeling likt it’s in the way. Here’s my plan:

1) Donate clothing and other items I don’t use. Then, organize the clothing I have (none put away in storage, no mismatched socks still around—everything is ready to be worn).
2) Sell books I don’t want around or have multiple copies of to a used book store.
3) Scan everything—turn all of my papers into electronic files, back them up, and get rid of the hard copies.

Then we’ll see where to go from there.

Gave away big bags of clothes and a few other items a couple weekends ago. Now looking at selling some books I have more than one copy of or don’t anticipate re-reading.

Donating two big boxes of books to the local library to shelve or sell at their annual used book sale.
