Learning theory is boring and pedantic at times but it is essential especially if you want to make a living out of this. It makes it that much easier to communicate with other musicians when you’re all on the same page.

Im still pretty bad at sight reading but I can make sense of a written piece and work it out given enough time. To me thats made a lot of difference in my growth as a musician.
