I remember once standing in line waiting to get into the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam while an American bloke asked the woman behind the counter to verify that these were the actual paintings by Van Gogh himself, and not, like, framed posters from Athena. I laughed at him at the time but after what you just said I think he could have had a point.
