Late January

The grass in growing, the birds are back, the daffodils are growing, it’s 75 degrees outside and it smells and feels for all the world just like spring. I sure hope this doesn’t mean that summer will start next month and run through November!

I completely agree. It’s 50° here. My flowers are growing and birds can’t decide whether to migrate or not. I refuse to mow the lawn! Just awful.

It's been like this all month

I’ve been in the South a long time and I’ve never seen a January like this. A warm day or two, sure, but the whole month? Never. And I do mean warm – in the 60s and 70s for more than half the month and the rest in the mild 50s.

blah.

Unfortunately for us, we get the occasional arctic blast from Canada so our weather is incredibly unstable. Yesterday 50 and rain, today 35 and wet snow, tomorrow 20s and snow/ice. Rinse and repeat.

I’ll be amazed if any of our flowers bloom this year. They’ve gone in and out of hibernation about 30 times in the last two months!

and as someone who’s health varies greatly with each weather change, I with Ma Nature would just friggin pick one and stick with it!
