It was Candlemas today. I didn’t even know that was a thing!
I think once of the things I am most going to appreciate about this goal is experiencing the liturgical year and learning more about it.
The service was so lovely. Everyone got candles and sprayed with holy water. I took communion and it was amazing again. I don’t know what it is (or maybe I do), but when I got back to my pew I felt so emotional. I actually felt like crying. It is so strange and beautiful.
I am really enjoying this goal and finding it so fulfilling.
