YES!! Woo hoo. SUCCESS.
I am so proud of myself. I started de-cluttering the study early with the Beautiful T still here! I had to look for something and it was impossible to move in there. In a fit of pique I moved all the junk out and stashed it in the unused ensuite shower bay. Then I wiped down all the surfaces and started tidying the book shelves. It looked fantastic but there was no storage under the desk. Took off to Officeworks after browsing on line, measuring up for storage and bought 6 stackable plastic drawers. This was the best option to fully utilise the space under the desk.
Have been sorting through the stuff that I stashed in the ensuite. Years of mail that was opened looked at, put back in the envelope and NEVER filed. Started with a small box, went on to a couple more. Ended up with 5 bags of shredding, a box of envelopes for re-cycling and a small pile of filing.
Got the ensuite stash down to about half…. and all with the Beautiful T still here. In fact, my side of the study looks so good now that TBT got busy themselves and is trying to outdo me in the tidy stakes.
I can almost take this goal off my list! YAY.
