Its even starting to show up in my goals. Getting furniture, a dog, and settling. I may not have the typical American womans life (Divorced single mom…it seems) but I am getting ready to have a nice time being settled having a steady job and not having any more hassles. I am feeling pretty happy about this.
I don’t know how long you were out of the states (though I am sure that if I read back far enough I would see). It must be quite a cultural shock, one that bounces back and forth between being good and bad. I hope the good side is slowly showing itself more (and I hope your co-workers have toned down their discussions)!

the joy of a small institution. I’m only here for 11 more weeks, and already I am shocked by the behaviors of everyone, problem is that there is generally just too much time ontheir hands…
