per request, I was switching the photos between two frames. only one frame had a glass layer. but of course it was the difficult type of frame that you have screws in the back four corners holding it together. once I got enough of them out, switched the photos, and was sliding the one remaining piece of glass into the frame, it cracked. being told that’s how the first glass sheet broke too. ok, so it wasn’t just me.
finding that I had an 11×14 piece of glass at home. from a float frame, but I think it is too large for any of my metals. and cutting down plastic sheeting the same size. should work well enough as replacements. I don’t have to buy more glass. also finding my interchangeable bit screwdriver. I’ll bring it into MG to have. since I pretty much chewed up two flatheads that were there, in the process of taking apart the frames. I barely use it at home.
